License plate cover recommendations? (Photo radar deterrent)
So, legalities aside, does anyone have any experience with the clear license plate covers that allegedly blur photo radar pictures?
I've seen plenty of products online, from the kind you spray on your license plate (like clearcoat), to the kind that is a cover that only allows a certain visible range.
I don't want to get something that looks like crap AND doesn't work. Any ideas? I can't find anything by searching through the forum.
Thanks!

I have one that I used for a few years. It's a license plate cover that distorts the image when seen at an angle, usually the angle a camera would see it from. Never had any problems until one day the cops were doing random checks and they actually pulled me over for having blue accent/parking lights and gave me the ticket for having the license plate cover. I can't recall where I bought it though. I would probably sell you mine if I could find it.

I'm more interested in covers than the photoblocker spray. It's so dark most of the year in Seattle that I doubt a camera flash would overexpose the picture...
Any other suggestions?

Really? I'm in Washington too, and I'm very curious what he could have possibly cited you for. Even if the plate is obscured, the fine here is less than $200 I think.
