Default Reading Light/Interior Lighting Legalities

Legalities...? Thats a word right?

Anyways, is it legal to have the interior map lights on whilke driving? Mine are all green, but I dont think that should matter.

Any reason for that lol? I think it looks kinda goofy rolling around at night with all your interior lights on...especially if they're green heh. I don't think there's any law against it, but a curious officer might pull you over just to ask why the heck you have green interior lights lol.

Wouldn't it be hard to see the words with a green light? No law against it, but why would you just want to ride around with them on? And I'm not buying that "just so friends can read HP"!

Cali has state safety inspections, right? That would be a good question for your inspector. In Mass, when I did inspections, I would have to fail the car. I would believe the cops could also pull you over for them.

Here in Florida, I see everything. From a car that looks right out of a Bond movie with the smoke screen it throws when taking off.

Don't know how bright your green is, but importantly, how can you see outside? Seems dangerous.
