Strange noise continued after BJ replacement
I replaced the lower BJ recently (128k miles) because I was hearing a tum-tuck noise in a bumpy road. The BJ was not bad at all, only a little free play. The weird is I continue hearing the same noise at before in both sides.
Anytime I take a bump I hear a tump-tump at front. The steering is alright.
Checked everything; tie rods, bushings, steering rack but couln't find where the noise come from.
The mechanic also verified all components when doing the job.
By the way, he charged $25 for each wheel plus I paid $60 for each BJ locally.
Total $170
Any idea what could cause this disturbing noise?? Thanks guys
