Default Nakamichi compatability

I currently have the pioneer system in my car and not impressed what so ever. I want to change over to the nak. I was wondering if the nak. 4" door speaker from the SC fits the GS front door. From what I was told they are, but I just wanted to double check. Thanks

It won't be worth it IMO. I have the Nakamichi and for having the "Nakamichi" name, I am not impressed at all.

The Nak speakers are basically garbage paper cone speakers.
The only reason they sound at all decent is that the NAK amp
is equalized and optimized for them. I ran the stock NAK speakers
for a while with my AVIC-D1 head unit (my car had the OE Nakamichi
system, I had to abandon the NAK amp), and the NAKs sounded
lousy...

I'd definitely rather spend my money on even on a cheap set of
Alpine or Boston Acoustics aftermarket speakers for the GS before
trying to muck around with the Nak stuff.

I want to have better sound and bass in the car, without having to spend a lot of money and I don't want to have everything rattling. I have a sub and amp, but I don't want to have my trunk rattling. I like the sound of OEM quality sound. I had a TL with the OEM bose and I loved the way it sounded. It was the perfect for what I wanted...Bass plus clarity and nothing rattling.

-404- The word "BOSE" together with the word "clarity" not found!

I still say you'd be better off with decent aftermarket co-axial door speakers
than the Nakamichi stuff.

to me i feel the pioneer in my gs400 sounds so much better than the bose in my tl-s. the oem setup in the tl sux horribly, no base and just didn't sound right. i definitely wouldn't touch bose again

i agree with bob, go with some aftermarket stuff like JL audio or so, probably better choice (i haven' listened to several and it's pretty good)
