Default So I decided to keep my GS

came to the decision that I'm going to keep my car. Too many lowballers out there in internet world. Was looking at all sorts of cars and definately didn't want to trade it in. Dealers offer 7000 to 7500 for a stock gs with my miles. Every dealer I went to was beggin me to trade in my car and they'd give me a "deal" on another car.

Guess I'm gunna wait til the wedding and then get that townhouse. Gettin married in Sept so I can wait another 2 months for the downpayment money!!

Now back to modding...tint is my next venture. Saw a new benz with that light light blue tint and I'm debating.

10-12k wouldn't have mattered that much in buying the house man - good call keeping the car. it's reliable transportation and instead of being burdened in finding another reliable mode of transportation, you're "buying" yourself peace of mind by keeping the vehicle so you can focus on making more money to buy that house.

overall: good call.

Good call B. Now about that tint, I think thats just the color of the window. My girl had an 04 clk430 with the blue hue in it. Anyone else know? Either way I LOVE how subtle the color is.

Glad you are still with us. You know what you have with your GS. They are great cars and yours is special to you. Things always work out in the end. The house thing will work out too.

You are smarter keeping your GS. As you said...you wouldn't have been given what it's worth on trade and then trying to find something decent......you would have lost money trying to get ahead. I think you made the right decision in the big picture! Plus....you are still ridin' in style!
