Default Looking for a unique yet classy color for my GS

OK Guys,

I'm thinking of respraying my car a different color.

I'm aiming for a color that's not the usual (black, silver, grey, red, yellow) that you see on the road yet not too loud or brash--sort of sporty elegance.

Perhaps, I can explain it this way. When you drive up to a 5 star hotel in your GS with your date, this color will make everyone take a second look yet will get the valet to park it right at the front of the hotel to show it off.

So far I'm considering Mystic Green Opalescent,LS600L Truffle Mica and also GS300 Sportdesign gray.

All suggestions are welcome. Attached photos would be appreciated.

The SD grey or Flint Mica gray looks fantastic to me. Maybe the IS-F blue?

I'd have to say that any version of black, white, or grey will
have a stock-ish look to it. If you want a unique or custom
look, I'd stay away from those shades.

I tend to be fairly adventurous with my cars, but I still like them
classy. I'm waiting for someone to do PPG Rattlesnake (dark dark
metallic brown), or I'd seriously consider the new Black Sapphire
off of the new LS (really dark blue). I also like Honda Nighthawk
Black, which is black in the shade, but blue in the sunlight.
Frankly, it's so dark it mostly looks black, so I couldn't do it!

I also LOVE Ferrari Tour de France Blue.
In person, it's really not that purple:

go with graphite grey pearl, nothing beats it IMO for stock GS colors. i'm a little biased though, but truthfully it is a very unique color. at times it looks grey, and at times it looks really dark grey, then theres times when it looks almost copper/brown...

Smoky Granite Micah although that is a charcoal grey & might be too pedestrian for you. Choose wisely, I saw a FOB on the freeway with 24's on an orange soda looking GS400 and cried....but i digress, I am a big fan of Black cherry too!!!

Star fire pearl!

don't let the pic fool you, it is a beautiful and really deep color.

I forget which one but either in this month's Top Gear, Car, or Evo magazine, there's a Porsche in the front pages, that color was gorgeous also.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far!

There is a local franchise for House Of Kolor. I haven't approached them yet for a price quotation--anyone here have experience with HOK?

Keep the ideas flowing guys

PPG Rattlesnake and Antique Bronze Mica sounds interesting--any photos?

I love the new blueish white on the new Lexus cars. And black cherry pearl is another classy favorite.
