Regret selling my GS
Hi everyone, I am sad to say that I regret selling my 98 gs400. Sold it, and bought my friends 01' Is300 blk/blk for a killer deal. The IS came with tein HA's and I have been driving it for 2 months now. IS handles much better, I also had teins on the gs by the way. But I miss the effortless motor of the GS and the look and feel of driving one. I don't drive fast, but it was nice to have the power there when I needed it. Now I am on the search for another gs400 or gs430.
Did any of you guys regret selling your GS? Thanks

I had two 98 GS400's and boy did they drive nice, I also had a 3 series which I am sure can compare somewhat to the IS,
and I have to admit the 3 series while sporty and fun did not answer to the GS especially that 300HP V8 (that probably hurts right there) lol. I noticed that the 3 series was fun, but the GS400 was that kind of car that demanded respect lol
Now I have a LS400, and my friend who owns one of my GS let me drive it the other day, while the LS has similar getup, the handling goes to the GS, much tighter
GS is indeed is a very nice car, there are times when I often miss it too, but the LS always cheers me up...
you should get another one, your car should satisfy you, not saying that the IS is not a nice car, just maybe not you, you shouldnt have any problems selling it, hell you might make some money since you got such a good deal, but should go quick, IS's dont seem to stay on the market very long, or any lexus for that matter
