Shouldnt that be the other way around.

20's around town? So you can hit a pothole and damage it?

I've seen only a few 20's on 2GS's that look right. 95% of the GS with 20's I've seen on here dont look right, too big for the car. Instead of the wheels blending in with the car and complementing it they scream out, look at me, look at me, lol.

My has 19's summer and the stocker 16's for winter.
Wife has 19's summer and BBS 17's for winter.

I have '19's but really i'm down w/ anything between 18-20. It's all about the stance within the ranges IMO!

Depends if you're going for performance or style. For Performance it really has to be 19's or down, whereas for Style it has to be 19's or up. If you want both there's only one size that is in both of those categories - 19's and that's what I've got Of course baller size anything under 20's is too small. It does change up the speedo though which something some people are not aware of.

!9' or 20" is not a great difference. Anyone could be; but there is others factors to be considered:
1- Style- this depends upon individual preferences.
2- Offset- how the rim together with the tire will fit (as much flush possible) into the wheel pocket.
3- Tire availability: Fact: There is more 20" tires available and prices are lower.
4- Wheel diameter not exceed by 3% original diameter or this will change the speed readings. http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp

It's very important tire exceed a little the rim wideness to protect & to void damages to the rims. Too thin clearance from the ground will pinch the tire or will damage the rim in an unavoidable pothole.
With 20" tire, will run more thin and is more propensity to brake up; (trying to keep the overall original 17" diameter)

This is my opinion...

19's FTW. No other size will do.

Dude,

I love the designs of your wheels

Do you have a pic of your cracked HRE? I thought HRE are suppose to be durable?
