Check into getting them powder-coated instead of just painted. Wider choice of colors, even chrome and colored chrome, more durable, better finished appearance.

I painted mine red and yes...they are OEM (with Brembo x/s sport rotors) - sorry guys for those that don't approve. I get many complements on it though. Also, I feel that your CAR COLOR has a lot to do with it. For example if I had a silver or red GS I would go with black calipers, a blue or green GS and I would go silver calipers. Any color caliper would look good on a white GS...just my $0.02. GL!

enlighten me guys, i need some opinions on this ... my mechanic told me it's not a good idea to paint the calipers because it makes them heat up too much and can cause the pads and rotors to warp ... is this tru?

Painted mine black like 10 months or a year ago, and haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary as far as the rotors warping is concerned. Actually, I don't see how the paint could hinder the transfer of heat from the calipers, plus a good majority of heat is transferred through the pads and rotors.

I would paint OEM calipers black, although silver may look good on your car. I have the stoptech bbk and the calipers are red, but my rears are oem and I painted them black.
