See the attached pic for the brake
The emergency brake release is located close to the gas tank release. It has a P on it. Just pull it.

Is this guy for real?
You just bought a $35-$40k car and you don't know where the EBrake and gas tank release is?
Tell me where you live so I can stay off the roads.

KINGLEX - scary **** man... DON'T DRIVE THE CAR until you've looked all over it and figured it all out.

KingLex, is this by chance your first car?? New at driving? The things you've asked about are in relatively standard locations, unless you've been driving a Yugo or possibly something old and British.
Not flaming here, but, with all respect, I suggest you get the operator's manual from whoever you purchased the car from or ask a salesperson at the nearest Lexus dealer to go over the functions of the controls of your vehicle. You have a 300hp WEAPON in your driveway and your posts suggest that you don't know what to do with it. Until you do, please don't go "play with matches".
For real.

so you are saying that the dealer didnt give you any manuals? You are supposed to get all your keys plus the manual.. Its like standard procedure especially when you are paying 30-50 Gs for the car...

KL, your dealer needs his butt whipped. It is expected and standard procedure that your sales person walks you through your car's features. The dealer, after all, made anywhere from a few hundred to a couple of thousand dollars on selling you the car. It sounds like you did indeed get all the keys, but the manuals should also be available, esp if this is a CPO car (but even if it's not).

Dont pay them any mind. This is their civil way of welcoming you to CL
I'm sure there are features that they learned from the manual that they werent aware of until they read it. And I bet they drove their car before they read the manual.
