Default sport design package worth it?

I'm looking at two GS300s. Both are 2003's with ~45000 miles.

One has sport design without navigation for $23K

the other doesn't have sport design and has navigation $20.9K

Is the sport design worth it if I'm going to lower it and put 19's on it anyway?

The main difference is the leather in the sport design is a very "orangy" tan vs. the non sport has traditional tan leather.

So I guess what i'm asking is wether or not the sport design is worth the extra $2k?

When I did a KBB the non sport was worth about $1K more even though it had slightly more miles.

Thanks,
Curtis

i would rather get a sport design, but thats only because i like the interior and the darkened headlights. but since the regular gs is cheaper with navigation, i think it would be better t get that one

Everyone on this board loves that color interior so thats what they are going to tell you to get...

If it was me i'd pick the car in better condition and second the color exterior i would rather have...

oh man.. that's not orange.. that's saddle.. a pretty rare interior color.. if it were me, i'd probably go for the sport design if i had the extra cash.. it's not worth it but it's nice to have things other people can't really have.. haha good luck with the decision

Well they're both black.

And I like the pearl black emblems.

I didn't realize the headlight difference, i need to look more carefully.

And i'd like to add an aftermarket double din unit with ipod and probably navigation, so the nav unit isn't as big a deal the more i think about it.

I'll see how much they can wiggle on the price of the sport design and go take a look at it in person.

Thanks guys,

Curtis

SPORT DESIGN FTW.....................

First of all, you can get a quality double din navigation unit for about a grand depending on wat you get and where you get it. So thats that.

Moreover, trying to make a regular GS into a sport design GS part for part, even if shopping for used parts in the classfied section will cost you well over 2K.

Furthermore, I believe the SD will hold for a greater re-sale value.

Plus its just a rarer edition and just SEXY.

Sport design only because I saw it in person and it's a damn fine combo!

I love saddles with graphite though.

Not to mention the OEM spoiler lip!

factory navigation is like 5 years old...technology advanced since then.
get the SD, drop it, and add aftermarket nav.

just my 2 cents.

wow... for the price I'd take the SD
1- The interior is rare so........ ballliiinnnn
2- I beleive it comes with the burlwood trim, black pearl emblems, darker headlight housings.. HOTTT!!
but I guess it comes down to your personal choice, either way ur getting a great car.. good luck with your buy man.
