Default Does anyone else have uneven rear wheels?

I am running factory 17"s w/ regular tires specs on my '01 gs430. I recently added spacers all around, 15mm front and 25 mm rear. Well here's the thing, the front wheels look even but the rear wheels are definitely not the same. The driver's side rear wheel is sunk in the wheel well more. The passenger side rear is pushed out about 5 mm further and therefore looks better. I had a friend look at the wheels and he agreed so i know Im not crazy! Its hard to make an accurate measurement but using a ruler and tape its clear that the rear wheels are indeed unevenly spaced. Does anyone else have this same issue? Is this normal or a sign of something seriously wrong? I just had an alignment recently and they told me they got it as close to spec as possible but that it was impossible to make it perfect on my lowered car. The car rides straight but this is really bothering me! Please help me out CL!

Default i feel you

I have 19s but my right rear seems to be further out then the left(driver) side. Asked Lexus about this issue since I only get rubbing from that side and not the other and they said that the car isn't totally symmetrical. One side is going to be different then the other side. This is coming from the body shop guy so I'm sure he knows.

Glad Im not the only one. Even though no car is totally symmetrical, 5mm is still a significant difference.

I've not measured mine, but when raising the front from the center of the frame, one wheel leaves the ground a bit before the other.

yeah 3mm sounds right. I never noticed with my 20's but the 17's and spacers make it more obvious.

Totally agree with you on this one! When jacking up the car on the rear, my driver's side comes up after the passenger side. I have two different height adjustments for the jack stand on each side. On top of that I get rubbing issues only on the front driver's side and rear passenger's side. Odd....

wow this thread meakes me feel better... when i had my 20's with my airrunners..... bro u have no idea how different the 2 sides looked..... one tucked one way the other tucked at a totally weird offset camber toe everything.... one side of the car always seems higher to me too... and if i lower it the camber gets all iffy.....

final conclusion our rear ends of our cars are totally non symmetrical. with everything... geometry. height... etc.

Got the same problem. My rear driver's side tire is more worn out then my passenger side. Got an alignment already and rechecked...still the same. What to do?
