Default fustrating cant program another master key...

i bought one off ebay prior to the posts of warning of buying keys off ebay.

well i've been trying and trying to program it at home but cant seem to get it done.

call me crazy but i wanted to see if i was doing it correct so i tried it on my other original master key and the security light doesnt flash when i try it either.

the info on the auction was all matching to my key so i figured it was the correct key.

oh and I'm not sure if this is important or not but I can start the car with my new master key but the buttons dont respond

one mroe thing....during the programming step once i put in my new key in the security light never even starts to flash

these are the steps i followed:
1. Simultaneously depress and release brake and accelerator pedals 1 time.
2. Insert existing master key into ignition.
3. Within 15 seconds depress and release accelerator pedal 5 times.
4. Within 20 seconds depress and release the brake pedal 6 times and
remove key.
5. Within 10 seconds insert new key into ignition.
6. Within 10 seconds depress and release the accelerator pedal 1 time.
7. After 80 seconds new key is registered and security light goes off.
8. Remove new key and depress and release brake pedal 1 time.

I got my key to work! For a minute I thought I got ripped off on ebay. woot! woot!

FOR CARS WHERE YOU WANT TO CREATE A SPARE KEY:
Before starting, press and release the Brake and Accelerator pedals at the same time.
1. Place an already programmed Master key in the keyway (Do not turn on)
2. Press the Gas pedal 5 times.
3. Press the Brake pedal 6 times.
4. Pull out the key.
5. Insert the new key but DO NOT turn it on.
6. Press the Gas pedal just 1 time and wait until the security light stops blinking (about 1 minute).
7. Remove the key and press the Brake pdeal 1 time. The cycle is now closed.
The programming mode will end after 10 more seconds.
Using above steps, from my experience my security never flashed at all through the process.
I just counted for about a minute or so and pressed the brake pedal.
I thought after this step I thought the remote buttons would work, NOT!
From what ppl have said these steps only get the key to start up the car.

I'm not sure if my new master key could start the car or not without programming first.

Well being frustrated that the buttons didnt respond I moved onward to:

REGISTRATION OF RECOGNITION CODE
1. Open driver door, keep it open and in the unlocked position (all other doors should be closed)
2. Put original key in ignition and pull out
3. Lock and Unlock the doors 5 times (complete each lock/unlock cycle within 1 second and
entire process in 40 seconds or less)
4. Close the door and open the door
5. Lock and Unlock the doors another 5 times (complete each lock/unlock cycle within 1 second and
entire process in 40 seconds or less)
6. Put the new Master Key in the ignition, turn it to "on" and then off (with 1 second) and remove from the ignition.
7. Press and hold transmitter LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously for at least 1.5 seconds,
and then within 3 seconds; press any transmitter button for at least one second.
8. If within 3 seconds, door locks cycle one time, new transmitter code was accepted. If door locks
cycle 2 times, new transmitter code was not accepted. If code was not accepted retry step 8 again.
After i did this step the lock would still cycle twice...so being all angry because I've been at it for hours now. I noticed that everytime I tried to press a button after Step 7 the door would cycle twice.

I closed my door because I was still holding it open and you know what happened. My key freaking worked after I closed my door. Even though the door lock cycle twice in the steps provided.
