I drove one of these before we got the Range Rover. The only reason we didnt get it was because my gs plus another rwd car in the winter do us no good. Great car though. Nice purchase.

Lot's of people don't like the Bangle Bimmers and the 5 series in particuler. Me, I absolutely love it. I agree thecar looks good as is, but wouldn't it look so much hotter with these:

These are the replicas but they look hot. I'd put them on a bimmer that I owned. Stock hotness.

Nice car, congrats.

Thumbs up

Nice car. I'm hoping my next ride will be either an 06 or higher 530i or 2004+ V8 version. The 525/528 is a bit too underpowered in my book.

After 2004, BMW changed that area below the stereo to also have the woodgrain finish. How hard would it be to change that in your 5? Bimmerfest is a great website for checking on those things.

Congratulations again. A very solid purchase!

I went from a 98 GS400, to a 2001 330i (Dinan 3), to a 545I with every option except PDC. I looked at the 07 GS350 AWD and when I test drove it, I felt like I was driving a camry that was really nice. BMW knows how to make cars. Driving the 545 is like a dream, it is the most perfect car I ever drove.

The service and reliability from Lexus is far superior to any other brand, but that wasn't enough for me to settle on for lesser driving dynamics.

Like Car magazine said. Lexus is the rational choice, BMW is the emotional choice.

But my GS was an emotional and rational choice

coco did u drive both?

I personally am not loyal to any brand. I hated the looks of the 5 series and didn't even consider it. my girlfriend made me test drive it and the rest is history.
