supercharger for gs300?
Im new to the boards and Im planning to pick up a 98-02 gs300 pretty soon and wanted to know of the supercharger options. I've read about the RMM and SRT but it seems like its for the gs400. Im looking for something pretty mild not too crazy since my main plan is to VIP this car, just wanted a little "go," along with the "show." thanks for the help in advance guys

there's so many turbo options as opposed to supercharger for the gs300.... why not go turbo? the parts will be more inexpensive in the long run and more adjustability when you have "boost envy" (wanting more boost )

Turbo FTMFW!
The nice thing about turbo is that you can just crank a ****(manual boost controller) or press a button(elec controller) to increase the boost(gotta make sure the rest of the driveline is up to the task though). With the supercharger, you have to take off the belt and change the pulley.
The turbo I have right now is good for about 550rwhp or so, but I'm only running it at around 375-400rwhp or so right now. The one thing I hate about these cars is the transmission. It can't hold that much power before snapping.

Trust me, there is no such thing as "I only plan to run this much PSI". Sooner or later you'll get the itch to boost it up. I think I get that itch every 3 months or so Just gotta make sure the cash flow is sufficient to build up the necessary parts

Well, the I only used a few XSpower parts in my setup. Manifold, some piping, and the intercooler. Everything else I bought genuine name brand stuff. Turbonetics T62-1 turbo, Tial V44 wastegate, HKS SSQV BOV, etc...

GL in your search. It took me a LONG time of research to find what I want. To bad my parts came the day after I totaled my car....oh well.
