Good Day For My GS...
Today, after 6 weeks, I got my GS back from the body shop. It's in better shape than when I had her before the wreck. Only a few things need to be addressed: the passenger mirror rattles (not the housing, but the actual mirror ), the alignment seems to be a little off, and the tint on the back windshield is now wrinkled (which is probably from them taking the back windshield off to replace the *** end). Other than that, everything is in tip top shape. Rich was telling me that they tried to blend as much as they could, but blending a black car is almost impossible... but it's barely noticeable... as I had problems trying to find it when taking pictures.
Then, when I finally got home today after the first day of fall classes, my title for the GS showed up. It was just paid in full before the accident, which is what made the accident burn that much more. The good thing was, that after the appraisal of the damage ($7,800) and the value of the car ($15,000), I'm going to keep the car and live debt free for a few good years!
Now, lets see if I can start modding the car with some of the money that I was using to PAY the car off...
