Alright, when I use my high beams during the day, or anytime my lights are off, the low beams (HID) kick in, and as we all know, flashing your high beams in necessary in many cases, and I don't want my HID's flickering on and off along. No need to shorten the life of HID bulbs and ballast.

has anyone successfully rewired the high beams so they don't trigger the low's?

I don't get why you would be concerned about this enough to the point where doing a DIY to fix it... I can't remember how long it's been since I used my brights during the day... I'm sure there is a way around it, considering that there was a way around the fog light issue.

Yeah, unless you're a serial flasher , it's probably not worth the effort to do the re-wiring.
