Default foglight mod gone bad.

i tried to do the fog on, off mod. I screwed up something, now my fog light doesnt work anymore. I followed the instruction step by step, but i think i messed up at the relay rewire part, i didnt follow the numbers on the diagram that BananaGs showed, stupid me. Also on the steering wheel foglight switch plug, its said that we should tap into that wire not unplug it right? anyone experience this b4 please help, thanks guy

i also took everthing back out and leave it as how factory would be, still not working, i check all the fuse it's still good and also the foglight plug in the front bottom bumper, there is not power comeout.

Yes. Tap the wire into the plug. that's probably your problem right there if you didn't do it.

recheck your wiring again.

check your fog relay again. Whenever attempting a DIY, always double check the wiring diagram. You might be lucky enough that you didn't damage anything.

It's a really easy mod, as long as you connect the right wires.

well i put everything back where they belong. I also use the headlight relay next to the fog relay see if it works, same thing not working. I also notice that when i turn on the healight, the headlight relay click, but when i turn on the foglight, the foglight repay no clicking.

so you put everything back to stock and it doesn't turn on still?

see if you can find the fuse for the fogs. The fuse is there to protect shortings.

It could be a lot of things. Perhaps complicated as wiring being melted off, or simple as a loose connection somewhere. If I was in MA, I'd help you out

Relays hardly die unless you run way too much power into it.

There is one wire you have to ground. The BananaGS site wasn't 100% clear on some of the wiring details. I just remembered that I had the same problem when I attempted that mod the first time. Just look for the ground wire for the relay trigger and make sure it's grounded.
