This is an old video. SRT had this on their website a couple years ago; Idon't know if they still do. Really nice run though, it sounds extremely strong!!

Other than the intercooler that car is a sleeper. I like how he didn't do too much crazy stuff to the exterior.

 

I asked them about that car, and all it had was an SRT S/C kit, the rest was stock GS400. I really wish they still sold that kit.

Wouldn't a supercharger kit from a Celsior theoretically (<--yeah, I know everything works in theory) fit? There are a few kits in Japan for the Celsior...I know Trial, Tom's and Comrade used to make them.

Eh, at that power level I'd expect the car to be in the 11's lol.
I'm sure they could do a few more runs and get in the high 11's.

 

I wonder how they managed to get 700hp with that supercharger.

700hp (whp?) with running 12 flat is pretty dissappointing however.


550hp at the crank should be enough to hit 12s flat. 700hp at the crank would land you around mid 11s.

 

I agree on the 700hp..E55 amg Benz is in the 12's with just 469hp stock. Used car prices are dropping on that car by the way

 

The GS4 definitely sounds solid through the RPM bands but why does the clock say 12.00 already and the cars hasn't finished the 1/4 yet? Anyway nice vid..

 

^the 12.00 must have been his dial in.

sounded like he hit the rev limiter from 1st to 2nd and then he let off between 2nd and 3rd so he wouldn't hit the rev limiter again.
