I have been thinking about getting a new intake for my car, and when I was poking around the intake and i opened it, and there is a hole that is connected to an opening that sits right above the radiator, now when ur driving wouldn't ur car get all the Cold air that it would need from that? because it seems to pull alot of air that way, and if u install an intake from say for instance, SRT they have that filter out in the open, so wouldn't that take more of the hot engine air then the original intake would?

Another thing, if I was to put a K&N air filter in my car, would it really give even a slight performance increase? or is that just the manufactors way of sellin there product?
