I have the 1998 DWP with black interior and factory nav.
This was the only combo I wanted and it took me over a year to find it.
It's out there.

 

i had a DWP 98 gs400 with tan.... now an 03 blue onyx pearl (dark blue almost black metallic) gs430 with black leather.. i think this is just about as rare as a white gs with black interior..i was looking for the white/black and blue onyx/black for a loonnnng time while i still had my white one.

 

I actually stumbled across mine by accident. But I thought the color combo was rare too till we did a survey asking for the rarest, there are a few people out there with this combo but most don't want to part with it. Be patient and you'll find one.

Same goes for FL, I tinted all the windows including the windshield and it's not too bad. Except when I let the sunroof and windows open, damn that was hot.

 

Probably b/c a lot of 2GS owners on CL wanted a black interior. I see tan interior more in general though. I looked for a black/black GS4 for 3 months but couldn't find one...finally gave up and got a black/tan. And to be honest, tan isn't that bad actually. I like the contrast between the black exterior and the more welcoming warm tan interior.

 

99 WDP GS400 with tan interior here...or parchment...whatever they call it.

I think the ones with black interiors are designed more for cooler climates mainly...but due to demand end up all over the place here and there. Not very common though.

 

so we know there are dwp on black cars. are there any crystal white(2000+) on black GSes?
