Lexus GX 470
Ok this is probably the wrong place to put this thread but since this area of CL gets the most traffic I guess its ok..
Ok guys at 3pm EDT I watched the Live unveiling of the GX 470 on Lexus.com if you would like to see what I saw please go to Lexus.com and go to the autoshow portion at the beginning.. Hit HIGH end site if you have high speed internet and then either hit the GX 470 button to watch what the GX 470 will look like with all the specs.. Also check out Denny Clements press conference in the archive section!
Vehicle looks great IMO..

At SEARCH field enter LEXUS GX.
There is currently 4 Photos available on the GX470 for public release.
The GX doesn't look to be in direct competition with the BMW X5. Still only 235HP.

I guess they add additional photos since I last checked. I narrow down the search criteria a little better using "LEXUS", "AND selection" and "GX 470". Now it shows some interior photos.

I just entered:
Lexus AND GX
in the box and it gets them. The and/or radio button doesn't work - it picks OR either way.
This picks up 26 pictures including interior and exterior.

Cross between......
I like it, however it just reminds me so much of a cross between a Nissan Xterra and Mitsubishi Montero.
It's finally good to have something rugged right in between the RX300 & LX470, but again I was looking for something more sporty. Maybe the upcoming revamp of the RX300 will show some more sportiness.
