Default Q: HID fog light install

Okay I got my HID kit in today for my Fog lights, okay my questions is I don't have the underneath engine cover on the car, so
#1 is the place where most ppl put there ballast on ( the plastic engine cover)
#2 how difficult is it going to be, to keep the ballast for getting wet. can you guys give me pointers?

I choose to have the cover off, one for oil changes and cooling flushes it makes it so much easier w/o this on. thanks

Some have tied wrapped on the bumper crash bar or tie it under the headlights. Shouldnt have to worry about the covers since most (I say that) most quality kits are waterproof anyways.

Double sided tape or zipties or both to the crash bar.

in order to do this, double sided tape/ziptie to crash bar, we'd have to take off the front bumper huh?

It helps to, but I just removed the fogs and reached it through the hole. Make sure the surface is clean if you're doing the double sided tape.
