Default help removing shift ****

I just purchaced a new wooden shift **** and was wondering how to get the old one off ? thanks for your help guys

just grab a hold of it and turn counterclockwise. That's it...

make sure someone holds the shift rod or it will fall inside the transmission once the *** is off

Yes and do it in a well lite area, preferably during the day.
And you have to make sure your trunk is open at the same time and that you hold the brake because then the car will shift out of parking and roll back. So place bricks to prevent this.

Also make sure you reset the ECU after doing this "MOD" because the additional horsepower gained needs to be recognized by the computer.

its nice how a simple question turns into a douche fest. I had a hard *** time getting mine off. I thought there were hidden screws. I had to **** up the original to but on new one
