I recently purchased a 99 GS 400 with the Nakamichi sound system in it, (without Navigation). I am thinkin about putting an in-dash navigation system in it.
Should I try to find a factory one for it or should i just go with aftermarket stuff? I want it all in dash, but I'm havin a hard time finding a replacement navi system for this car.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Kent

Pioneer makes 2 at different price points. The AVIC-D3 is the "budget" unit while the AVIC-Z2 is the advanced one.

If you want to be as close to OEM as possible, look into Eclipse by Fujitsu-Ten. They make the OEM nav units for Lexus. This does not mean they are plug-and-play. You still have to treat them (for install purposes) like any other aftermarket system. You will find that the Nav UI is very similar to the OEM units.
