Default Should I Buy Now or Wait?

I am ready to trade my '99 ES for a '02 Lexus. I don't like the new redesign of the ES so I'm considering a GS 300. However, the GS is starting to look old and I have a feeling that it will undergo redesign soon. If I buy now, I'll have to commit to it for the next 3.5 years. Unfortunately, there isn't another Lexus model out there (in this price range) that I like. Should I buy now or wait?

Default Waiting

The longer you wait the more technologically improved and reliable will be the product. But in the meantime you don't get to enjoy...

This is the trap that most PC buyers get caught up in, so many improvements coming so rapidly its attractive to wait...

DON'T!

fully agree with what west said....if you like a certain car, it is within your budget, and you need the car, go for it....while it is true that a new gs will debut in early 04, the price will not be as attractive..plus, the gs model has reached the stage where most, if not all kinks have been solved. if the new es is not your cup of tea, consider the gs as it is one of the best value sports sedans out there...especially if you opt for only the premium pkg..

Thumbs up

I was having the same problem before I got the GS430, the reason why I didn't wait was because IM kind of afraid that when they redesign the new GS430 that it wont be as appealing as the one now is. So...we have 2 years till we can see if its better or not, if it is, than you'll only have to wait a year and a half after they come out before u could get the new one, which that'll pass by real fast, just Enjoy ur GS300 as early as possible
