Wink stage 2 hid 6000k kits!!

hey club lexO this is the cousin of gs on doobie's. i came across a deal on hid kits. the kits are stage 2 hid kits that bursts @ 6000k compared to stage 1 (stock/o.e.m.) hid @ 4200k. the kits go for $600 and if you can arrange a group buy of 5 or more it goes $550. this is a steal so far from what i've seen retail and on the web  i've got many applications so inquire within. the kit includes everything you need to mount and install the bulbs and ballast. this is plug and play application. if your interested please contact me @ steven_k@pacbell.net or call me @ 213)792-7703. thanks for your time.

You can get the phillips HID kits for around $420 on the net....Those look like phillips ballats with a generic bulb...not saying they are not bright but I would want a price cheaper then the phillips kit.

those are 6000k bulbs. Not the regular 4200k ones. 4200k bulb HID kits sell for around 400 bucks yah but if they include 6000k bulbs then 600 ain't bad. Considering 6000k bulbs are still around 350 bucks, the kit is only 250.

Default phillips

yeah the phillips are 4200k /stage. the difference is that the phillips has more of a white hue and the stage 2 that i got has more of a purple/blueish hue you see on that of bmw/audi. they are also brighter, which equals more vision on the road.

Might be a silly question but can I just purchase a set 6000k HID bulbs for my existing car (SC430 or GS400) and just plug and play from my factory bulbs or is there more involved so I don't melt the wiring harness??

yes you can because the actual watt of the kit is only 35 watts compared to the sotck 60 watt(i think). but no it wonl't melt your current set up.

So basically if I buy the 6000k bulbs only and replace my existing 4200k it will work the same?

Do you sell the bulbs only if the answer is yes? How much? Where do I order?

Thanks,

Manuel

Has anyone else noticed this? or is it just me, but whenever I turn on the lights on the GS430, they appear very blue at first, then after about 10 seconds or so, they dont look blue anymore and they look very white, if u have them pointing at a wall for instance

That's normal, they are "charging up." When you first turn them on, after they haven't been on in a while, they'll do that. Needs to charge up that xenon gas! Once you turn them on, and they have been on, try turning them off. Then turn them on again. They will probably be bright to begin with.

Also at night, once they are warm, turn them of and flash your brights really quick. The xenon lights turn on and off real quickly. It's like lightning!!

haha, I've already done that, You ever have the lights off then start flashing the brights while ur in a dark garage? it looks crazy sick, makes u kinda get hypnotized, but the reason I was asking about the change in color of the lights is, why doesn't BMW lights, or Audi lights do that? or if they do... im not sure, but I have seen lights on Audi that look very blue when they are driving.....Personally I wish that they could stay that dark blue and not turn very bright white...

Most of them do go through a warm up stage, my friends Mercedes does that, it starts really blue, then tones down to a bright white. The BMWs do to, but they have a color shift from a weird greenish/blue to a bluish/purple. That’s what I have seen we going into and out of parking spaces.

Talking

yea that's pretty weird, because when ur facing the car, say for instance driving and u see a GS with the HID lights, they actually look like a bluish kinda color, very crisp and distinct, but when u see them from the drivers point of view, they look very White.... lol I always thought it was my eyes playing tricks on me
