Default Messing with NOS

Hey.........

i am wondering if any GS3 drivers has mess around with the universal NOS system. There is a system that fits the GS. I heard i would get an instant +50HP with the flip of the switch. It cost around $630 and $30 for refills. One tank of nitirous oxide can probably give u 20 hits. Does it kill the engine or overheat it...... i'm just trying to get some info on NOS system before i mess up my engine.

You might want to PM Club Lexus member Double Whoosh.

I seem to remember that he had much experience with NOS systems for both Lexus and non-Lexus vehicles. He's based in LA too, so maybe you could meet him at his shop - www.tmengineering.net

Good luck.

I have messed around with NOS before. 630 dollars seems kind of steep for a system. I'm not sure if the price has gone up or what, but I think I bought my single fogger dry system (ORG. NOS) around 400 dollars. That was for the foggers, solanoids, and standard tank. I don't see why you can't fit the system into your GS, you can pretty much stick the fogger anywhere, just as long as it in the flow of air. Closer to the trottle body is better. The amount of HP gain is in the fogger tip. Just be care not to get NOS fever. Once you start shooting, you keep wanting to get more and more HP. I started at 20, and ended up going up to almost 100 gain. NOS will take a toll on you engine, no doubt. Good Luck, happy shooting.

I recall a thread a few months ago about a few of us N2O crazy people thinking about getting it.. Well some of us have agreed to wait for VENOM to produce a kit for the GS400 as it is computrized and will only inject N2O when the engine is ready for it...

Then again I got sick of waiting and scraped the whole idea, I do know that NX have an application for the GS400 and 300 in their catalogue might wanna check it out.

AHH N2O I wanna insert a fogger in my A/C compressor so everyone in the car starts smiling without a reason cheers
