so i purchased the hubcenteric rings on ebay for 9.99 plus 2.50 shipping and i got the stud at autozone for 1.sumthin.... ill start working as soon as i receive my rings.....
BTW!! is the absence of the hubcentric rings the reason why my car starts to shake as soon as i hit 55? didnt do it b4 the rims.
The absence of the hubcentric ring is one of the reasons that can contribute to the shaking. This is due to the wheels not being completely centered as it is only sitting on the studs which is very bad. At specific speeds this can cause a sort of harmonic vibration.
But the GS is notorious for having vibration problems at certain speeds, namely the 50-60 area I believe. There have been tons of threads about it and not many of them figure out the problem and have it solved. I'll try to find one for you though.
