Unhappy engine noise

hi. For past couple weeks I start hear some noise coming from engine, I know that those 2JZ engines are pretty noisy but besides that click click noise ( you guys know how 2GS inline six sounds) I hear some other noise its weird I cant even describe that. I uploaded video I don’t know if its going to help, did any one had that problem? Its about 81000 miles I didn’t change timing belt yet, I change oil every 5000miles, maybe I need tune up?, like change spark plugs. I guess am gona visit dealer.

Here link for clip http://media.putfile.com/hi-83

Your car is stock. It should be very quiet during idle. My sister's GS300 is bone stock and it's so quiet that you can barely hear the engine idle. Are you sure you didn't accidentally oil starve the engine? It kinda sounds like there's some metal on metal contact in the engine. Do you hear any clunking, clicking, or any unusual sounds when accelerating? Or it could be something as simple as an exhaust leak. Hard to diagnose the problem over a video clip. If I was there to look at it in person, I could probably figure it out pretty quickly. I work on these 2JZ's all the time now and almost know it like the back of my hand lol.

i wouldnt run that engine too much. get it towed to someone who can check it out for you. that sounds bad i have the same motor and i second guess myself sometimes if the car is actually running thats how quiet it is. it actually almost sounds like a diesel motor. good luck with it
