Default Things to check buying a 2000 GS300 ?

Well Met.

I have a deposit down on a 2000 GS300 Crystal White (or is it Pearl?), any tips on what I should check on it? The electronics all seem to work great ... I am going to check the ball joints ... anything else?

Thanks much, in advance...

I just got one of those a couple weeks ago~! I love the car. I hope you enjoy yours too! I went on a limb and trusted the previous owners...it was the wifes car and was in excellent shape...It's a lexus...nuff said.

Nice, thanks.

The car has 168k miles, but Im paying only $7700 for it. Apparently they guy had a long commute that put on almost 30k a year miles.

I cant believe this car drives so good, I took it for an extended drive today, not a thing is wrong with it!

At least ... that i can tell.

everyone says these cars should last for a very long time. with 168k miles on it, ask the seller to have it inspected by a certified mech. if everything's ok, go for it!

Nice I got mine with 90k on the odo for 14...so yer payin half of what i did. I bet the car will run fine as long as the previous owner didn't beat on it....sounds like you got a good deal! I had such a good experience with my seller that I trusted them (wifes babied garadged car)...and after 2k of fine driving I am sending in the gs3 for service tomorrow...getting daizen steering rack bushings in hopefully i'll update you here! Btw if you do get it do the ecu reset....I was skeptical...but it works...car is more peppy.
