Insurance for our mods. who has it?
Starting to notice I have more in the car then the insurance company would pay if it were totaled. Who has insurance that pays for your mods as well as the car? How much more a year is it? Whos your insurance company? THANKS

I carry extra insurance for my wheels since they can be costly to replace if stolen. Cost me about 2 bucks a month through American Family for an extra $2200.00 in coverage.
To cover your car for what its worth with all the add ons you would need a appraisal to get the coverage you want. I have had friends that do it. It can be a pain but a nice thing to have in the event of a accident or stolen vehicle.

My State Farm for rims($3000) was about $68bucks more yearly. Worth it. And yes they asked for proof but it can be from any company that sells the wheels. So you can essentially get an expensive quote but its not worth it cause youll pay more unless you want more incase your car is totaled or rims stolen...

I have Wawanesa Insurance..
$3700 coverage for wheels/tires
$3000 coverage for sound system
$2500 coverage for my wald kit/JP spoiler/JP tails
all for $89 bucks extra for a year on top of my full coverage premium. Well worth it for piece of mind.
They sent out an appraisal agent to my house and took pictures, write down every aftermarket mods in full descriptions.
