Default Upgarted to 20" rims, however vibrations will not go away

I just put on 20" rims, and I've had them balanced twice, however between 50-70 MPH, i feel vibrations in the steering wheel. Sometimes they're small, other times they're a lot worse.

Have you guys experienced similar problems when upgrating your rims?

Any suggestions?

Make sure the hub centric rings are (if needed). Also get it road force balanced using the GSP9700.

hey guys, i'm not sure what you mean by hub centric.

I called a nissan dealership because they do road force balancing there, but he was reluctant to give me a price. he just stated that it would cost 3-4 times that of a normal balance, which is 90 bucks.

does that sounds about right?

Went to the GSP9700 website, and they don't have a shop locater for Canada.

Any Canadians know of any shops in Toronto that have the GSP9700?

I have had a tire shop several times pull wheels and lose the spacers or even rotate the tires and double stack them when they stick to the wheel, feels like the car is possessed by a pogo stick demon aroung 65 mph. Just make sure they did the job right, there is no reason bigger wheels would make a vibration unless you changed other ride dynamics as well. The only other reason I can think of for a steering wheel shake other than balance and spacer issues is that your brake rotors are warped(you will feel it when braking mainly, obviously)or bushing and ball joint wear(but it has to be extreme). Just look over the shoulder of the one who is doing the work, you catch a lot of issues that way...

i took it to another shop today, and they found a slight bend in the rim, so i took it back from the shop i purchased it from, and they're going to replace it.

There could be a couple of different issues here.. Did they really balance it right?.. Sometimes it can be a tire issue.. I was curious too, are the wheels brand new?.. Because they can be bent too.. As stated above too, your rotors can be warped..
