I was at dealer yesterday they told me about some 90k service for 1100$, and I forgot ask them wat else included in that 90k service, so my question did anyone of you guys did that 90k sr. at dealer, are they only going to change timing belt and pump????/ My friend told that in auto shop its much cheaper, but I don’t know I don’t trust local shops.

From the lexus dealer service list a 90k service includes the following:
-Replace timing belt
-Inspect drive belts
-replace AC,engine, and oil filter
-replace brake fluid
-replace engine coolant
-re-torque axle shaft flange bolts
-road test vehicle
-rotate tires
-inspect fuel lines and vapor system
-inspect fuel tank cap gasket
-inspect transmission fluid
-inspect balljoints, dust covers, brake lines, hoses, brake pads, differential oil, axle shaft boots, exhaust pipes, rack and pinion, and steering linkage and boots
Priced @ $1096.95
They usually dont replace the water pump and the water pump price is not included here. The dealership service advisor told me water pumps usually never goes bad on a lexus, might be different on a toyota but they rarely give away in a lexus, reason why everyone fixes it is for a piece of mind.
I'm getting my 90k service done soon as well, im at 87.7k miles, but I'm getting all my bushings replaced with daizen bushings and replacing my lower balljoints and tie rod ends. I'll probly wait a little longer for the 90k service, maybe at around 95-100k i'll get my 90k service done.

ball joints were not included....mine apparently were shot after 90k....after reading a ball joint thread here...I was not surprised they were bad though.

if you are going to change your timing belt I highly suggest you go ahead and change your water pump, cam, and crank seals.....they may not be known for going out, but for the extra $100 or so for the parts and labor it's more than worth it. If you don't change it now and then it goes out another 10K miles later you will be paying the exact same labor over again. I do suggest an independent shop. I got all the labor done for $300 cash and bought all the parts from the dealership. That's the best bang for your buck! let me know if you have any more questions.

I'm planning to order the parts from the dealer too, but I just wanna go over my list:
timing belt, tb idler, tb tensioner, water pump, wp gasket, camshaft seal (?), crankshaft seal..is that all?
