GS Gets Caught Roaming Around Byrd Stadium *pix*
I was at my alma mater, University of Maryland, doing some late night tutoring...and on my way home, I decided to drive in and around the new stadium. When I was going to school there, it was called Byrd Stadium....but now, with corporations taking over sports, it's now called Chevy Chase Bank Field @ Byrd Stadium. 
But I have to admit, due to much needed renovations, the stadium is much nicer now than when I was in school there.
Anyway, here's some night shots. I liked this photoshoot because I was able to get some shots of the GS from some elevated locations.

...just drive around with a camera, that place is crawling with photo ops.

How do you get away with these nice pics and not get chased down by security (building, campus, or otherwise) esp parking so close to the buildings? Good job on the pics, and the new wheels are growing on me

Plus, taking pictures is harmless, most security/police don't care. Some campus police did approach me when I was in the stadium, and I just said I was "taking pix" and they said, "Oh, have a good night" Simple as that. But in the end, it takes fearlessness. Just do it. If they tell you gotta go, it's no big deal.
And yes, the wheels are growing on me too.
I'm using a basic $200 Digital Kodak point-n-shoot that I bought at KMart 3 years ago. But my $20 tripod saves me.
I want to move up to a DSLR soon, like a Rebel XTi, but I want to take a DSLR class first. No use in me having a $1000 camera and a $500 lens, and then treat it like a point-n-shoot. And my local Lexus group, NELOC, always teases me when I come to a meet with my little ol' point-n-shoot camera, and then have the nerve to pull out a tripod to put my little camera on. The pod looks like it cost as much as the camera. lol
Iz all good...eventually, I'll be moving up to a DSLR. It will be my next big luxury purchase...so I need to save, take the class and then do all my requisite research first. The photography section here in ClubLexus offers excellent perspectives though on digicameras.

Nice pics man. I love those black cherry GS's. If you told me you were using a really expensive camera (DSLR) I would have believed you, because those pics turned out really well. Once again, really really nice whip
