On a side note, I noticed that a lot of you guys on this thread have really low mileage GS'. I have a 2000 with about 97K on it. About 12,000 - 13,000 mi/year. You guys are around 7,000 - 8,000 mi/year! Did you guys all buy your GS' from old people? lol...I always get tempted to sell mine and get a lower mile GS but I always decide against it and say that I'll have to mod all over again....besides my car runs great still.
Seems it is hard to find a low mileage one from an individual. My case was an older guy in KC bought it new as a 3rd car, garage kept; drove 6k per yr! 36k on an 01GS430 w/ zero paint work or accidents. So I had to buy it, still smelled new and had the fuzzies on the carpet! It is taking a while to sell my 99GS400 though!

Yes as of last week, no more GS400 here, I took a few last shots of the pair of white cars sat side by side....

Being back on stock suspension is kind of nice...of course the stock springs and these thick 245/45 18's really put the car in the air vs the L Tuned GS400.... I most likely will put some 255/40's on on the new car and that will help some.

I just put some new skins on the 18x9's. Bfg KDW2's in 255/40 18's. I went slightly thick since I am not lowering the car in the foreseeable future. Came out nice, what do you think?

PS I only used the mural as a backdrop, had to showcase some of the neat art down on Industrial Blvd, Dallas Texas!

I was after a "factory special" look, so the chrome Toyota wheels suited well. Found 'em used but they polished up ok, Mother's Mini Ball was a great help.

it looks good, but I think you know it needs to come down at least an inch.

Ha I know I considered it.... but at the moment I have an 88LX 5.8 Coupe and a 63 Ford Falcon Sprint project that satisfy my mod thirst.

The Falcon most likely will get lowered courtesy of an AirRide air suspension set up and some Salt Flat wheels in time for a Falcon Nationals meet in Springfield, MO.

And the LX is lowered on Eibach's. So I think I'll have to leave the GS on stock coils for now.. maybe around 85k or so...

So how do you like my Craigslist chrome wheels... couldn't pass em up at $75 ea!

very clean. i see you just couldn't keep it completely stock for long. i like the TRDs a lot though. preaty soon that 4x4 look is going to get on your nurves and you are going to lower her... then the compulsive modding process begins again.
looking good though, congrats
