I haven't used it on a GS specifically, but I've installed them in other cars before with no problems. Only thing is that you have to splice the new O2 sensor wires to the connector in your car. The universal O2's just come with 4 wires dangling at the end with no connector. It's not too hard and shouldn't take you more than 30 min. It's sure a heck of a lot cheaper than buying a direct plug in replacement from the Lexus dealer.

Bought two off of e-bay for ~$25 each since a CL member tried it and had no problems. Unfortunately, both of mine didn't work, kept tripping the CEL. When I put an ohm meter on the black wires, I got readings in the 6-7 range, rather than the ~13 expected (like my good original that was in there before). So when you go universal, it might work but you're taking a chance.

Well, when you buy the universal one you gotta make sure that the sensor element rating is the same as what is used in the car from the factory. It's universal in the sense that the same sensor will work in a broad range of cars with that same resistance/voltage. You can't expect one o2 sensor will work with every single car out there. Different cars use different resistance and possibly voltages are slightly different.
