Airvent Temperature Problem

I have noticed that the temperature of the air comming out of the mid-level air vents is cooler on the driver side than on the passenger side. This happens even though the Heat/AC is set in "AUTO" mode and not dual mode. The dealer says that this is "normal" and all GS's are this way. I think it is a problem that needs to be fixed...has anyone else noticed this?

I've had my GS400 for 3 years and lots of miles with my SO in the passenger seat.
Never experienced this. When she wants it warmer she hits the dual button.
Sounds like you're getting the "they all do this, now go away" treatment from the dealer.

I personally think it's normal as well. I have a 2000 GS3 and some times the driver side air vents releases much cooler air than the passanger side vent. This usually happens during cooler days like in winter in Virginia and when I'm driving by myself. It seems right that an area with a person (body temperature) is somewhat warmer than an area without a person around. When something like that happens set your temp at around 75, which I do and I'm comfortible in my car almost all the time.
