radiator fan not blowing, please help
i just got my car out the shop 2 days ago, they installed new radiator fan shroud, radiator, and ac condenser. my car raises to the middle on the temp gauge, so it seems fine. Last night my engine compartment was smoking bad..... realized that the pressure hose from the radiator to the engine(?) blew up so there was radiator everywhere and that was how smoke was created..... i check the car and notice the radiator fan does not blow at all, w/ or w/o ac.....
my questions are:
1) has it damage anything in my car?
2) could the body shop guy forgot to plug in the fan? or i got a bad fan...
3) do i have to remove the fan to plug it in? or can i do it in its position at the time?
4) is there any other reason why the fan not blowing?
thanks for the help guys....

no harm has been done but you need to get all the fluids like tranny engine and radiator fluids need to be replaced also the fan does have a motor that can go out but i dont know if your fan is belt driven or motorized the motor can go out every blue moon but u know stuff happens

In many cars, the radiator fan is not always on, even with the A/C on. It comes on intermittently when the on-board computer decides it's time to cool the internals down.
So it's probably a bad hose, or a bad fan switch (relay).
Should be a simple diagnosis for a mechanic.
