Dealer Price- Timing Belt and Water Pump

TIA,
You might want to ask them for sure what the $1326 would include. 90k service is usually around $500 at the dealerships. Also, keep in mind that they might try to upsell you the seals, tensioner and idler pulleys. This is up to you, but while everything is appart you might want to have these things replaced anyway, for preventative maintenance.

Working at a Lexus dealership gives me the advantage of paying the tech's directly to do the work on there off time, but nothing says you can't stop in an talk with one of them yourself and see what he would charge if you gave him the parts. Think about this, they get paid by the labor hour at a rate of less than $16.00 an hour. If it was to take 3-4 hours and you offered him 100-150 for the labor and the parts cost >300, you are making out even better. Also, you know that the work is done right and be guys who do this every day.
