Exclamation Question b4 Phase II starts. Should I go with the subtle look or go Carbon Fiber?

Okay gang, its simple and I'lll leave this open a couple weeks.

DO I continue my subtle/classy/OEM mod look

or

Do I go for the Carbon Fiber/Import/I like unpainted parts look

2 very different ways to go. I'm actually confused. I've flirted with going Carbon fiber since I got this car. I know my bud CarbonGS has this theme on his car though and I don't want to intrude on what he has done. On the other hand, I like the classy look and people looking over my car trying to figure out whats different.

ITS POLL TIME!!!

+1 or go with the carbon fiber and paint it the color of your car so no one knows you've done it and still looks oem.!

I prefer painted stuff. Too much carbon fiber in the wrong places looks cheesy and ricey.

If you go with plan 2, you're going to impede with CarbonGS' theme. If you stick with plan 1, you're going to interfere with my theme, so go onto plan 2

I'm jk. I personally never liked CF on a GS. The GS is a luxury car, which is why I only do little subtle mods to the car to freshen up the look. But at the same time, my car retains the luxury theme.

If you must go CF, I would only apply CF under the hood. The CF engine cover looks really awesome in our engine bay!!

I voted for option 4 because personally, that's what I want to see .
As far as your car, just go with choice number 3. Close enough right?

Seriously, I think subtle touches and hints of CF would look very good, especially since your GS is black. Maybe like a CF roof spoiler, it would look clean, a lil sporty, not too crazy, and classy all at the same time, along with what everybody has suggested so far.

Carbon fiber in obvious places is cheesy e.g. hood, trunk, lip, etc. Very Ricey IMO.

I have seen instances where CF has been painted but certain areas were left unpainted for a very stealthy CF "peek-a-boo." If your whip is black and you can come up with a scheme where it pokes out in discrete locations, that would be trick.

carbon fiber is cheesy esp hood and eyelids imo. Its not a honda...but if you paint it and have it for functional purposes then go for it.

Make it a sleeper, no need to advertise the fact that you like to go fast should you ever get pulled over

I'm not a big cf fan but I do like it in small portions over a car if the theme keeps flowing through out..Example: CF hood , I would prefer to have the center left in cf and have the sides painted body color. I also think you cold have the roof painted a graphite color that would play off the cf weave but this works more with lighter colored cars than with darker colored cars especially blk where there wouldn't be enough contrast to pull this off imo. Having everything in cf can become overkill especially when the all the cf weaves aren't going in the same direction or have different patterns. Usually different manufacturers won't match each other. My vote would be for CF touches here and there.
