Default GS4 reaching 150K mi.. what to maintainence?

sup all..

my gs400 is reaching the 150k mark, and i was wondering which services should i tend to? i just want to keep up on proper maintenance so this beauty can keep running...

ball joints .. tire rods and 90,000 mile service .. timing belt..water pump..etc

Tir rods and ball joints can be checked by a mechanic, do not replace them unless he says too.

Spend 230 dollars and have Lexus do their certified inspection on it ...

lower ball joint on the front suspension and timing belt on any interference engines are the 2 MUST preventive maintenances.

Everything else (water pump + cooling system, crank seal, cam seal, tie rods, control arm bushings, misc. seals and bushings) should only be replaced when it fails. Most people change the water pump along with the timing belt anyways, but I don't see a problem until 180k+ unless you never flushed the coolant or you drive under very harsh conditions.

U should do all the maintainence that was done at 90k again.

I wouldn't say you need to do all that again already......you shouldn't need to do it till 180-190K! Like one of the other guys said....just pay a good mechanic to check it out for you. About time for some struts probably! GL
