Default Hard starting on 98GS4

Any of u guys who owns a GS4 have hard starting? My car in the morning time starts with just one quick crank, but after i drive the car for awhile and stop the engine and let it sit there for awhile it does not start right away. I need to crank it a couple of times for it to start. Anyone have these issues? If so, what year GS4's and miles?

From my mustang days, this was a symptom of the fuel pump going out. Starts fine in the morning, but once you drive it and it heats up, hard to start; like when you go to the store, turn off the car, then get back in...hard to start. If it's the fuel pump, it will eventually fail and you will be stranded. Get it checked out ASAP.

The cost of the fuel pump is $238.32 if this is what it happens to be. Here's a link to it: http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...98&catalogid=1

Could the starting issues be the pulsation damper on each end of the fuel rail where the fuel lines are or is it called the regulator? Or could it be the regulator on the pump it self?
