Default Trunk release lever

It will not release the trunk open. Any idea is there is a fuse somewhere and where it is?? I can use my remote or key.... but not the interior swith that is nest to the gas tank door.

make sure your trunk release valet protection button is out. this can get accidentally pushed in. this is the metal button that looks like an ignition switch below the sterring wheel. you can release it with your key. when the function is pushed in, you cannot release the trunk with the interior release function. it is a saftey/theft mechanism.

i just ran into this same problem but heres where i got it even worst i have an aftermarket key that doesnt have the trunk pop option and the key willNOT open the trunk, nor does it open/cloes the valet keyhole,does anyone else have a way to get into the trunk or open up the valet keyway?

ok after talking to the dealer i dont think i have an aftermarket key i only have the valet key so any other options? the dealer told me i can buy 2 new keys for 205 EACH and pay 210 for labor and swapping the computer so all together im lookin like at 600ish for 2 new keys man that blows any other options?
