WOW, glad he and his friend are still with us.
Also, the bag on the wheel looks like it did not go off, WTF or is it me?

Holy smokes....that looks like a bad wreck....glad you're bro and his buddy walked away from this....they best be thanking the big man upstairs for giving them another chance.

Yes...nothing is THAT important to text and drive at the same time.

Glad to hear everyone is OK, the Lexus is a safe car.

I aquaplaned my Aristo in the summer during the wet weather...Lexus GS is a really safe car, no injuries to me even though I hit the central barrier...car is written off by insurers but being rebuilt as a drift car :

Thanks everyone for the prayers and concerns. I spoke with my brother this morning and he is going to be released from the hospital today. I told that he was not suppose to live from that.......the wheel airbag didnt go off because the front of the car didnt hit anything but some mailboxes..the bottom bumper is bent because of the sidewalk...the side airbags did go off though...I was thinking WTF as I was walking to the car and the steering wheel bag was still in tact.....Hopefully he learns from this.....this would be 7 lives left now.....as a kid he had nonhodkins lymphoma and his 3 year old daughter just beat a bout with pnet tumor..which is a rare brain tumor...so I think there are a lot of things that he needs to evaluate while he is laying down recovering....again thanks to everyone..I love this community...

Yes, thank GOD your brother came out OK. I hope he is on his knees tonight (praying) realizing someone is watching over him. That was a nasty spill!

Best wishes to your family,

I hope your brother has a speedy recovery.

However, let me get this right.... he was drunk/had been drinking AND texting while driving? Thats a bad combination right there. I won't preach about drunk driving, b/c we all know that most of us have done it before, but people, lets be safe out there, especially with the holidays right around the corner.
