My reason for parting out
I thought long and hard about parting my car out, selling one car that truly has been great, and it's plain and simple. Expense and Desire. I would love to do a tt setup, but the value is what bothers me. Having a older car is nice when it is paid off, but to do what I am wanting out of certain cars is just not there anymore. I am sure others have parted out for similar reasons, or totally different, but whatever it is, it is a strange feeling taking it apart.
I have actually thought about getting rid of all my cars. I don't owe on the nsx, and the sti payoff isn't bad. Just don't know any direction to go. Am I getting old so quick? Selling cars has you look at them as just metal.
Its stange, anyone comment in same boat.
p.s. Parts are getting ready to come off, and getting all shipping lined out. Will have ready soon. Want to make sure everything is 100 percent for everyone.

For me this is odd to hear you guys say that. My uncle is a car guy. He is 31 and he now has a family and just recently got a house and he has a baby on the way. He use to have a 5.0 'tang back in the day, had a bagged gmc sierra show truck, which he also raced, and a bagged tahoe. Now he drives an excursion, with a system, in dash tv and a flip down for the kids. My point is, he still has the urge to mod his truck, even though he can't. However, now he takes joy from me and my modding my GS. He is always excited to see the car and gives me tips and suggestions. Although I am still young, I don't see myself leaving modded cars behind. For me this a life long addiction. I plan to keep my GS for the rest of my life, not matter how many cars I will have in my lifetime. Heck they can bury me in the GS .

age has little to do with it
i am 42 going on 43 and still enjoy the modding game
change is good to keep the interest going .. i decided to do it for i felt the gs platform could not deliver the fun factor i desired regardless of what i did to it
i wanted more of a sports car vs a sports sedan ( which the gs is not )
do what makes you feel good and dont use the "getting old thing" for age is just a number , life is made to be lived , enjoyed and cherished
