I work at a dealership, and for sure that guy will sell it for less if you haggle with him he's a salesman. But yeah thats a pretty good deal considering that vehicle still has a book of 20gs according to KBB.
We had a 99 GS400 Platium Series with 125k and we sold it for 12k just to let you know.(no nav)

Why not?! I think that's a good price...the car looks real clean. If some think this price is too high then I'm ****ed if/when I want to sell my car. I just turned 95K miles! I'm so and I am now ...OK, maybe I won't sell it then and just drive it into the ground...lol
But the basis I wouldn't buy it is because it seems poorly maintained..like the hood/front bumper looks like it has a lot of debris and has been repainted -- in addition to that the dash is really dirty and under the hood isnt very clean either
--but considering it is a 1999 ... I guess you can't expect perfection

That whole car was re-sprayed....look at the emblem on the fender, you can see the paint build up. Also look at all the fender mouldings, they have overspray on them. Makes u wonder what else???

I would get it checked out and get the vin to find out what kind of work was done to the car. you have to watch these private dealers they buy there cars from auctions and alot of them were in wrecks our under water our even theft recovered i would buy from private owner our go to your local dealer and spend a couple more thousand for a certified preowned because these cars can get pretty expensive when stuff goes wrong. but get it checked out and if everythings ok go for it. but jmo i would buy one with a warranty i bought an 04 gs300 with 44k for a lil under 24k from my local lexus dealer and got the 100k warranty i know alot of people dont have that kind of money but at one time i didnt and i just kept saving till i did. good luck with it if you do decide to purchace

i just did a carfax on it and it doesnt say thers anything wrong as far as 'title problems' everything says 'guaranteed no problem', on 'other information' everything says 'no issues reported' except for the warranty part it says 'the warranty expired'. the car was purchased in modesto and i guess the dealer thats selling it now got it in 10/23/07 at a auction.
