Default Front Lip

Ok, I am trying to decide which front lip to get for my GS. The TTE seems good because after I lower my car I don't think it would scrape. However it costs $300. Then my other choice would be the greddy because it is a little more aggressive and costs $100 less. But I wonder if after lowering it would scrape. Does anyone have any pictures of both front lips? Maybe even a picture of what they look like before installation? Some advice...?

Genius,

Just got my Greddy lip put on yesterday and snapped a quick pic for you, I'll try to take a couple more pics in better conditions once it stops raining here and post them for you. Since both our cars our black, thought it would give you a good idea of how it'll look.

I haven't driven much yet with it, but it's already scraped once leaving a steep parking lot.

And a third. Car is pretty dirty and there isn't much room to manuever in the garage for a good side shot.

Default TTE Front lip

Genius1512,

I have the TTE and my GS is L-Tuned, I have scraped it on occasion, but you'll just need to be more aware of the lowering, spoiler and the grade you are trying to traverse. Anyway here's a shot of mine from the side and from the front. The first is before the L-Tuned kit.

I had both front lips. They are both made very well. I thought that the Greddy lip was more aggressive looking, but it really didn't completely flow with the rest of the lines on the car. I really liked the way it looked on my car until it "got into an argument with a peice of wood on the road."

Now I have the TTE front lip. It seems to match the car a little more. Of course, i also got some modifications done to my front bumper.

As for the scraping aspect, the Greddy scraped a lot more than the TTE. I think it is because it sticks out farther from the bottom of the stock bumper (farther being more forward) It hangs just as low, but the difference is that the farther in front of the car the lip sits, the more likely you will scrape it while leaving some moderately steep curbs or driveways.

Thanks Richie. Just need some wheels and a supercharger now. Well, maybe some brakes too.

Yes, that's my girlfriend's 96 NSX Targa. We're still working on a website with some pics and info, but there are a couple on the link in my signature (or click here) and click on the Pictures link.
