How do I flush the power steering fluid?
Anyone have pages to the fsm for this or can describe to me the steps? In my Supra I just pull the hose on the bottom of the resevoir and just let the fluid run itself into a plastic bag.
The fluid is looking awfully dirty, and I don't remember the last time it was changed (if ever ).

I just did mine (GS300) and it's easier with 2 people with this method. I bought 2 quarts of Amsoil ATF for this and didn't end up having to use all of it.
I jacked the front of the car up and put it on jack stands just high enough so the wheels were off the ground. Then I used 2 plastic bags from the grocery store (one inside the other) since I couldn't get a bucket where I needed it. I took off the hose going into the reservoir and aimed it into the bag then had someone start the car and turn the steering wheel from lock to lock numerous times. I don't know what the GS4 reservoir looks like but you want to take off the return line, I'm used to the Supra canister with 2 lines going into the side and this one only had the one. I let it spit most of the fluid out then poured more in and flushed it with one whole quart (by then it was all new fluid coming out *continue to keep turning the wheel side to side to flush*). Put the hose back on, filled it back up and let it burp all the air out by continuing to turn the wheel back and forth. Once done I drove it around and checked the *hot* level and added accordingly.
