I am having an issue with my HIDs on my GS.

When I turn the HIDs on they come on. And then 5 minutes later the right head light shuts down.

Did this happen to anyone else? Do I need to change my bulbs or is there a wiring issue with my car?

Please help.

Seems like a problem with the ballast. My friend has a TL that sometimes does it. When he turns on the headlights, one of it won't come on. Then he turns it off and back on and it works.

Would this be covered under warrenty? I but my car used at the lexus dealer. just wondering if this would be covered under the 3 yr warrenty

Should be. Only part on the headlights I was unable to warranty was the housing when it got condinsation behind the lens. Good luck

Switch the bulbs to the other side and see if it has the same problem. If it does, it's the ballast, If not, it's the bulb.
